The Role

Read this part first…

This role is deliberately broader than a traditional social media manager. Great social content matters, and producing posts is a small part of the job.

We’re hiring the person who will build the content engine that supports the whole business, across every marketing channel, as we scale towards the Global Nutrition Operating System for Human Performance. SEO that drives acquisition over years rather than weeks. Social and YouTube that build awareness and authority. Email that nurtures. Paid that converts. Every piece of content with a clear strategic purpose, never published for the sake of publishing.

Hexis is already trusted by UCI WorldTour cycling teams, Premier League clubs, international rugby organisations and Olympic athletes. That’s credibility. What we need now is for the rest of the endurance world to hear it, and to find us when they go looking.

If that makes you lean in, keep reading. If it didn’t, this probably isn’t the role for you and there are no hard feelings.

What you’ll own

Five of the “big rocks”:

  • The content engine: Own the content strategy across blog, social, email, YouTube (long and short form), paid advertising and supporting marketing assets. Every piece carries a clear strategic purpose, and you measure whether it delivered one.
  • SEO and long-term acquisition: Build an SEO-led content pipeline that balances search opportunity against what athletes care about and what the business needs commercially.
  • Social and YouTube: Develop the strategy that grows audience engagement and builds brand authority in endurance sport, tied back to commercial objectives rather than vanity metrics.
  • The calendar and the partners: Plan the content calendar around the endurance racing season and our commercial priorities, and maximise the content opportunities we hold with strategic channel partners across the endurance sports ecosystem.
  • Production and delivery: Run the end-to-end production process, deciding what gets made internally, what is AI-assisted and what is outsourced. Coordinate stakeholders, approvals and budgets so content ships on time and to a consistently high standard.

Who you are

You’ve developed and executed multi-channel content strategies before, and you can show what they delivered. You understand SEO, content planning and audience-driven storytelling, and you’re as strong on project management as you are creatively: multiple competing priorities, external creative partners, production workflows and budgets held together without the deadlines slipping.

You use AI tools well and you have a real point of view on where they help and where they don’t. You’re data-driven, comfortable measuring content performance and optimising for growth, and confident presenting a plan to leadership and defending the reasoning behind it.

And you love sport. We build for athletes, and a lot of us practice what we preach ourselves, running, triathlon, cycling. You don’t need to race or compete. An understanding of the endurance sports market is a real advantage here, because you’ll be writing for people who can tell within a sentence whether you know what a taper is.

The honest bit

This role asks for project management as much as creative ability. A lot of the week is coordination: stakeholders, approvals, vendors, budgets and delivery dates. If you want a seat where you make things all day and someone else handles the planning and the prioritising, this isn’t it.

Content here is judged on business outcomes rather than volume published. We move fast and we expect a lot, of the work and of each other. We can only build this with someone who wants it.

What we offer

The chance to build a content function from strategy down, working in a category that has real science behind it and real athletes in front of it.

  • Competitive salary, dependent on experience.
  • Ownership of the content function and the strategy behind it, rather than a queue of post requests.
  • A multi-disciplinary team of engineers, designers, PhDs and performance scientists to draw material from.
  • Direct, visible impact on the performance of world-class athletes.
  • Hybrid working, based in Dublin.

How to apply

Send your CV and a short note to careers@hexis.live. In the note, tell us:

  • A content project you delivered across both search and social, outlining how you brought the project to life, and how you measured success.
  • Why this: why Hexis, why now.

We read every one.

Hexis Health and Human Performance is an equal opportunities employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
