Job Description:

We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer with a frontend focus to join our team. This role is heavily weighted toward frontend development, using technologies like React Native (Expo) for mobile apps and Next.js for web apps, with TypeScript powering both frontend and backend development. Familiarity with AWS and cloud architectures is a plus.

Your work will involve building and refining frontend systems that deliver exceptional user experiences for athletes worldwide while collaborating with backend engineers and designers to ensure seamless functionality.

Responsibilities

• Frontend Development:  Build and implement robust, scalable, and reusable frontend solutions using React Native (Expo) for mobile and Next.js for web platforms.
• Component building: Help design and develop components for our new design system, ensuring consistency and a high-quality user experience.
• Backend Collaboration: Work with TypeScript-based APIs and integrate frontend with our AWS-based backend infrastructure.
• Optimization: Focus on performance, responsiveness, and cross-platform compatibility for mobile and web applications.
• Code Quality & Testing: Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code, and establish automated testing practices to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on the latest frontend, backend, and cloud technologies, advocating for improvements that benefit our platform's scalability, performance, and user experience

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in front-end development, including React Native (Expo) and React.js/Next.js.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Experience building front-end components and managing design systems.
• Expertise in responsive design and cross-platform development principles.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with AWS services (e.g., Lambda, API Gateway, S3, CloudFront).
• Understanding of backend APIs and workflows in TypeScript.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Git, Docker, and Jenkins.
